“Dear Folks at Cascade Thermal Imaging

I would like to thank you for the recent Infrared Imaging services you provided to us on several of the properties we manage here in the Seattle area. The services you provided to us on both our condo properties and our commercial properties were more than useful in our efforts to verify the quality and effectiveness of construction repairs done to our condo property and helped us identify the exact locations of water intrusion in the roof structure on our Ohio Street property so we could direct the repair efforts. This saved us considerable time, effort and money.

The energy audit scans of the windows in our Hanford Street property were also very useful and were utilized by our window installation contractor. It was of great benefit to be able to show the thermal images to the contractor, so he could make the appropriate corrections. We now have much less energy loss due to heat escaping around our windows at this property thanks to your extraordinary thermal survey services. We manage over 40 buildings in the Seattle area and I am sure we will be calling on your services regularly. Thank you so much for your help.”

Cascade Thermal Imaging Saved Our In Floor Heat System Installation and Saved Us Thousands of Dollars

During construction of our new home the radiant in floor heat system was installed and 6” of concrete was poured over the cables prior to the electrical inspection. (Please note: It is highly advisable to have the electrical inspection before you cover these systems).

The electrical inspector informed us that the concrete would have to be jack hammered and removed so he could see that the splice areas of the cables were exterior of the conduits running from the thermostats down into the floor and that the area where the cables began to heat were also a safe distance from the conduits.

In this instance however this was not possible, as any attempt to remove the concrete would certainly destroy the in floor electric cables. (A test attempt was performed, the results were disastrous).

However thanks to Cascade Thermal Imaging of Redmond, WA we were able to avoid this costly and unpleasant experience.

They were able to easily and non-invasively perform an infrared inspection of our in floor heat system without costly demolition of the concrete floor and certain destruction to the heating system cables. They were able to show exactly where the splices were and the exact locations where the heating of the cables began. This Infrared inspection was completed within 2 hours and was extremely inexpensive, especially compared to the demolition alternatives.

The infrared and digital images and information provided in the report was exactly what the electrical inspector needed to see and thanks to this work, which showed the heat cables perfectly we passed the electrical inspection. This extraordinary technology and your expertise literally saved our in floor heat system installation and saved us thousands of dollars, as well as a ton of time and frustration. Thanks again!!

Sincerely,
Jeff & Eve Carty

Thank you for the recent IR inspection you performed on our home.

The thermal images were very helpful in verifying the quality and effectiveness of our recent construction repairs. And your ability to pinpoint the exact location of the water intrusion locations in our roof saved us thousands of dollars in roofing repair and/or replacement costs

Service Manager – Cascade Thermal Imaging, Inc:

I wanted to say thanks for the recent Infrared inspection your crew performed at our Bigalow Street remodel job site in Queen Ann recently.
Having the precise location of the heat venting system and the plumbing locations behind the walls of this home was crucial to my crew, as the plans for this remodel included moving some walls and relocating some entry ways etc. Their knowing the exact location of these obstructions behind the walls, in the ceilings and floors saved us considerable time and money, as well as eliminated any costly and unnecessary demolition.
We will be utilizing infrared imaging as part of our remodel proposal process often, as it is such a help in eliminating unforeseen problems, its non-invasive, very cost effective, and such an asset in our bid and proposal writing process.

Thanks again,
